The 2026 SADC Sustainable Energy Week (SADC SEW), held from 23–27 February 2026 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, brought together Ministers responsible for Energy, policymakers, industry leaders, development partners, academia, and energy practitioners from across the Southern African Development Community (SADC). Under the theme, "Driving Regional Economic Growth through Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency," the event served as the region's premier platform for advancing dialogue, collaboration, and investment in sustainable energy.

A key highlight of the week was the 9th SOLTRAIN+ Regional Conference, which showcased the progress and impact of the Southern African Renewable Heating and Cooling Training and Demonstration Initiative (SOLTRAIN+). The conference featured insightful discussions on renewable heating and cooling technologies, innovation, research, capacity building, policy development, gender and diversity, and the future of solar thermal energy in Southern Africa.
