Current Hot water delivery is via a ‘Tankless – Gas – Ring Main’ on each building. Hot water is meter at the flat unit and
sold to the tenant or home owner. Solar thermal systems onto the ring mains of three of the buildings 1, 6 & 18 are planned to determine the way forward on the remaining buildings. Available Roof Space & budget restraints have been put in place which will affect system sizing. The core purpose of the Solar System is to save ring main losses.
